Hypnotherapy for exam or test nerves
It is only natural to feel some pressure, anxiety or feelings of stress when you have an upcoming exam or test. Often your future career path may be determined by passing a written, oral or practical exam and the last thing you want to do is fail at the final hurdle. Some people are able to handle the pressure of the build up better than others and utilise the adrenaline that the body produces to push them into action on the day.
In others these feelings of self doubt and lack of confidence start to take hold so that their stress and anxiety becomes out of control. Continued feelings of negativity are bound to impact your performance especially if they create symptoms such as trembling, sweating, feeling sick and a raised heart rate. Some people even find that their mind simply goes blank when they try and recall what they have learned despite the hours spent on preparation.
Hypnosis can help you beat your self doubt and combat exam or test nerves
Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool to use when you are experiencing feelings of self doubt, anxiety or stress. I work with my clients so that they can ignore their negative feelings and instead replace them with feelings of self confidence and motivation. Hypnosis is also a great tool for assisting you to concentrate and focus your attention so that you can feel calm, relaxed and in control once more.
Where appropriate I teach my clients self-hypnosis so that these feelings can be created outside of the therapy room when I am no longer with you. Visualisation work in trance also helps to prepare you for the actual exam or test so that you can mentally rehearse what you are going to do on the day in a calm and controlled manner.
