Marketing your hypnotherapy practice is one of the most important things that you need to do when running a business. Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss Enfield – Ten Tips to Help You Lose The Pounds

To start the New Year off to a flying start my blog post today is about my top ten tips to help you reach your ideal weight. Hypnotherapy for weight loss is one of the most natural ways to lose weight as it doesn’t ask you to go on a faddy diet or cut out major food groups. Instead it works by giving suggestions to your unconscious mind which will be taken on board allowing you to change your habits for life. Practice these tips that I have outlined below in conjunction with any hypnotherapy weight loss program and you should find that the pounds begin to drop off.

1)     Pay attention to what is on your plate by eating mindfully. That means no more food in front of the computer, TV or even when you are reading. When you take care to notice everything that is going into your mouth you generally eat less of it.

2)      Take time to chew your food slowly. Start to concentrate on the flavours and taste of your food so that your stomach will naturally realise when it is full.

3)      Don’t eat junk food. If it is processed then don’t let it pass your lips.

4)      Do not deprive yourself of any particular food group. This type of behaviour is unnatural and unhealthy and means that you are already setting yourself up to fail in the future. If you want a piece of chocolate then choose a small amount of really high quality chocolate and enjoy the treat knowing that you don’t need to eat a whole bar.

5)      Are you mistaking your hunger for thirst? Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

6)      Start writing a food diary so that you can see what you are eating every day. My Enfield weight loss clients provide me with one at every session so we can look at what they are eating and habits which are stopping them reaching their goal.

7)      Use visualisation techniques every day to help build a picture in your mind of what you want to be and how you want to look. Picture yourself every day getting slimmer and slimmer and visualise yourself eating fresh healthy food and glowing with health.

8)      Make sure that you eat your five a day. Fresh fruit and vegetables should be part of every meal.

9)      Rid yourself of the diet mindset. Stop eating low fat processed food or restricting your food intake in an unnatural way. Instead fill up on healthy fresh food and veg, grains and pulses with the occasional treat and the pounds will melt away.

As a hypnotherapist in St Albans one of the most common phone calls I get in January is from people who are looking to lose weight.  My weight loss in St Albans program is run from the Ginger Natural Health Clinic in the centre of town where I assist my clients to shed the pounds with my lose weight for life hypnotherapy sessions. As it is the New Year I thought it was important to include a stop smoking Enfield blog to reach out to all of you who are intending to quit in 2012. I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist in Enfield and have helped numerous clients to quit in just one session. As I set my clients up for success I always talk to all my clients first before booking them in for a stop smoking session to ensure they are sufficiently motivated to make the change.
